  I had my first appointment with Dr. Weathers. I've looked at her reviews and thought I would like to establish primary care. I was sick for a while, but went to Doctor's Care for immediate attention because the first new patient appointment was a month out. I liked Dr. Weathers and thought she had a pleasant personality. However, I do not feel like she really listened to me. I was also VERY shocked at the final bill because I do have BCBS insurance. I was normally treating with Doctor's Care in Summerville, but was tired of walking in to be seen. However, I've never paid more than 100.00 for any kind of service at Doctor's Care, and I've had several tests done over the years. My new patient appointment at Palmetto Primary Care was $267.00. My co-pay was $25.00 and insurance covered only $85.00. I wasn't even sick. I would have loved to have spent that 157.00 elsewhere rather than to simply establish primary care. For me, this is not the right fit. Just be aware.
